As part of the exhibition Helen Frankenthaler moves Jenny Brosinski, Ina Gerken, Adrian Schiess, artist Ina Gerken hold a talk with curator Lea Schäfer at the Reinhard Ernst Museum on 19 November 2025 at 6 p.m.
Ina Gerken (*1987) lives and works in Düsseldorf. She studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy, where she was a master student of Katharina Grosse. She passed her first state examination at the Mainz Art Academy. Ina Gerken has received scholarships and residencies from, among others, the ISCP International Studio & Curatorial Program, New York (2024-25), the Stiftung Kunstfonds (2024), the Pollock-Krasner Foundation (2023) and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2022). She is represented by galleries in New York, Turku and Zurich.
The talk will be held in German.
