Item #10011-6bdc3eWolfgang Hollegha (1929–2023) had already gained great recognition in New York by the late 1950s – at the heart of the artistic avant-garde that brought about lasting change in painting. Yet he decided early on against a life in the international art capitals. Living in seclusion, he devoted himself to completing his fascinating body of work over six decades with unwavering focus and without compromise. During this talk, Daniel Hollegha will offer personal insights into his father’s life and working methods.
