An Evening with Daniel Hollegha

Item #10011-6bdc3e
As part of the exhibition Wolfgang Hollegha. Don’t Think, Look!, Daniel Hollegha, the artist’s son, will hold a talk at the Museum Reinhard Ernst on 15 April 2026 at 7.00 pm. The talk will be preceded by a guided tour of the exhibition. If you would also like to take part in this, please purchase your reduced museum ticket either online or at the ticket desk before the talk.

Wolfgang Hollegha (1929–2023) had already gained great recognition in New York by the late 1950s – at the heart of the artistic avant-garde that brought about lasting change in painting. Yet he decided early on against a life in the international art capitals. Living in seclusion, he devoted himself to completing his fascinating body of work over six decades with unwavering focus and without compromise. During this talk, Daniel Hollegha will offer personal insights into his father’s life and working methods.
This talk will be held in German.
