Item #10017
Sunday, 25 October 2026 at 3.30 pm: Don’t miss this one-off performance by the inventor of art comedy at the Reinhard Ernst Museum!

Jakob Schwerdtfeger presents his latest book Punkt Punkt Komma Strich, fertig ist die Kunstgeschicht (Dot Dot Comma Line, Art History all Done) in a live show in which he guides us through 1,000 years of art history with his unique brand of humour. Jakob Schwerdtfeger captivates both art novices and experts alike with his very own perspective. What does Impressionism have to do with dog jumpers? Why does Cubism look as though someone has punched a mirror? And how did the Renaissance become the overachiever among art movements? Find out all this and much more at our live event! This live act will be held in German.

Event starts at 3.30 pm – followed by a book signing in the museum shop.
