Knitting Event at the Museum Reinhard Ernst
Item #10002Come to the Reinhard Ernst Museum and start or finish your scarf project as part of the special exhibition ‘Judit Reigl. Couleur Vivante’! In doing so, you’ll be showing solidarity with children in war-torn and crisis-stricken areas, as €10 from every Lana Grosse wool pack sold will go to Save the Children. The Hungarian-French artist Judit Reigl (1923–2020) also experienced exile. In 1950, she managed to flee Hungary – after eight failed attempts and a three-month journey to Paris, part of which she covered on foot. In her expressive paintings, the sheer energy of her regained freedom finds artistic expression.
Guided tours of the special exhibition ‘Judit Reigl. Couleur vivante’ and an aperitif round off the evening’s programme. The €20 ticket includes admission to the museum, a 30-minute guided tour and an aperitif. Representatives from Save the Children will be present on the evening to talk about the NGO’s work.
