RMF Concert Martynas Levickis
As dusk slowly sets in outside, the Museum Reinhard Ernst in Wiesbaden opens its doors once again for a special kind of museum visit: under the motto ‘Music meets Art’, RMF's focus artist Martynas Levickis presents electronic sounds fused with tango music together with DJ Philippe Cohen Solal (Gotan Project). From a stage in the open part of the museum, the music spreads throughout the rooms as the audience wanders through the building. Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, depending on your position, you can hear the music while marvelling at the collection of abstract works in the museum - a symbiosis of two art forms that have a lot in common at their core, but are completely different in their outward appearance and, when combined, open up new dimensions of reception. It is both an ear-opening and eye-opening concept and a game with the senses that can be experienced for the first time in this form.
