Item #200016

In 1957, the abstract painter Judit Reigl was the only woman among her otherwise German and French fellow artists to be featured in the groundbreaking Wiesbaden group exhibition Lebendige Farbe – Couleur vivante. Reigl’s dynamic paintings speak to us of unbridled strength and the courage to forge one’s own path.

Almost 70 years later, we are joining forces with the Deutsche Bundesbank to make financial education accessible to all. After all, those who understand finance hold the key to a self-determined and free life – just as Judit Reigl sought to live hers – in their own hands.

Following a brief tour of the temporary exhibition Judit Reigl. Couleur vivante, experts from the Deutsche Bundesbank will provide a concise insight into two thematic areas – an introduction to the world of finance for our young audience, and, the following month, a guide to navigating the new world of digital finance. There will then be time for questions and answers.

This event is conducted in German.
